“I will represent Farrer and its needs,
NOT the interests of a major political party.”
Do you want our beautiful region to continue being sacrificed by political parties that are more interested in their own future than ours? If the answer is ‘no’, then let’s do something to make a difference.
I will fight for:
*Strong regional economies
*Food production and food security
*A better health deal for rural Australia
*Technology to serve growing regional economies
*A fairer share of infrastructure funding
*Innovative community driven environmental policies
Do you want more of the same or do you want people power to enforce change?
We MUST take a stand. We MUST say ‘enough is enough’.
The major political parties are sacrificing OUR COMMUNITIES for their future.
I will fight for the people of our region so we get government decisions and policy that are in OUR interests, not in the interests of winning environmental votes in marginal city electorates.
I believe I have the knowledge, the willpower and the tenacity to get a better deal for our region and I encourage you to join my fight.
We can win!
We can make a difference!
You can play your part

Background:
Married for nearly 30 years, Louise and husband Andrew run a mixed farming enterprise (dryland cereal, Merino sheep and summer irrigation crops) in the Southern Riverina at Deniliquin. While raising 3 children, she stayed at home, and when the youngest went to school, Louise retrained in computers at TAFE and worked part time off farm. She maintained a strong active involvement in day to day farm activities both in the paddocks and running the partnership business.
Why stand as an independent?
To build a vision for Regional Australia. To give 'Farrer a Future'.
“There is huge discontent in the Farrer electorate – where policies are imposed with no consideration of the economic and social fallout on communities.”
